Tess Thorn (Maria Bello) has

After leaving a book signing party for a group of geriatric Sherlocks, she is advised by one of her fans that she can save a lot of time by taking a different route home. Tess follows the very specific directions given by the woman and ends up with a flat tire in the middle of nowhere.
With no cell reception Tess appears to be in deep doo-doo until asics tennis a kindly countenanced big truck driver (Will Harris) drives by and offers to change her tire. Unfortunately for Tess, this is a Stephen King movie, and our protagonist ends up beaten, raped, and left for dead.
Tess wakes up in a drainage ditch with a plethora of other corpses, makes her way home, and decides she is not going to tell anyone what happened. Instead, she puts on her investigators cap and loads up a can of whip-ass vigilantism for the “Big Driver.” She also has the help of an old grey-haired imaginary sleuth (Olympia Dukakis) and a car GPS that seems intent on zeroing in on Mr. Good Samaritan.
Okay, this might not be the best Valentines movie to watch; but it might just strike a chord if you just broke up with a creep. (Available on Netflix.)
