I have to give this album that much credit, but for me, it is a little too reminiscent of Martinezs other scores for Soderburgh even Thomas Newmans score for Side Effects sounds like Martinez or inspired by his work, but it was completely original. This album will be enjoyed by fans of Cliff Martinez and the show, but most will be really turned off a little bit by it. Well, traditional soundtrack collectors anyway. Marginal thumbs down for this score.
